Dining Smart nutrition standards are based on widely acepted nutrition guidelines for total calories, fat, cholesterol, and sodium. Items follow the nutrition guidelines for the National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP), the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, and the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH).

  • All entries have less than 350 calories.
  • Soups, side salads, and side dishes contain less than 150 calories.
  • All items contain less than 35 percent of calories from fat.
  • All items contain less than 100 mg cholesterol.
